How to Disable User Registration

In some cases, you may want to prevent users from registering publicly — such as when running a private or invitation-only platform. WuWei provides a simple setting to turn off all user registration options.

Steps to Disable User Registration

(1) Log in to the Admin Panel.

(2) Navigate to: Settings → Site Settings → Site Configuration

(3) Set “Allow New Accounts” to No.

(4) Click Submit to save your changes.

What Happens Next?

• Email registration form will be disabled.
• Third-party OAuth registration (e.g. Google, GitHub) will also be disabled.
• Only administrators can manually add users from the admin panel.
