Automatic Moderation Guide

WuWei supports AI-powered content moderation to help you keep discussions clean, respectful, and free of abuse. This guide shows you how to enable automatic moderation using the Google Perspective API.

By integrating Google Perspective API into WuWei, you can:

• Automatically flag or block harmful comments
• Maintain a respectful learning environment
• Reduce moderator workload

Enable Perspective API

(1) Visit the Perspective API Developer Site

(2) follow the official guide to enable the API

(3) Copy the API Key — you'll need it for the WuWei admin settings

Enable Moderation in WuWei

(1) Log in to the WuWei Admin Panel

(2) Go to: Settings → Moderation Settings

(3) Enable the following options as needed:

• Enable Review Moderation (for course reviews)
• Enable Comment Moderation (for lesson discussions)

(4) Paste your API Key

(5) Click Submit to save your settings

How It Works

Once moderation is enabled:

• When a user submits a review or comment, WuWei sends it to Perspective API
• The API returns a score (e.g., 0.85 Toxicity)
• WuWei can automatically flag, reject, or hold for review

Data Privacy Notice

• Only the text of user comments is sent to Perspective API
• No personal data (name, email, IP) is sent
• All requests are made securely via HTTPS
